IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING SELLING

  • Pack and transport items to the Mapes Gallery.

  • Prepare all auction advertising.

  • Supervise pre-sale inspections.

  • Collect sales tax and file returns.

  • Use our extensive, computerized e-mail list to inform customers of upcoming auctions.

  • Website-to expose your collectors items to a worldwide audience.

Weekly Auctions held most Tuesdays at 5:00 pm, Preview from 3 pm.
These uncataloged auctions offer a combination of antiques, collectibles and household items mostly from area estates. Many exciting items are uncovered at these auctions. If coming from a distance it is a good idea to call. 607-754-9193

EXPERIENCE:

  • 37 years buying, selling and appraising antiques, household contents, 
    and works of art, jewelry, oriental rugs and collectibles.

MEMBER:

  • Earned the CAPP (Certified Appraiser of Personal Property) designation in 1988.  This is the
     highest level of membership.

  • Served on Board of Directors, 1994 - 1996.

  • Co-instructor, 5-day Antiques & Residential Contents course taught Nationwide.

  • Member of the teaching staff of the International School of Auctioneering, S. Deerfield, MA. for over 18 years.

  • Conducts adult education courses on antiques subjects through Broome Community College.

  • Speaker for many years to civic and historical groups on antiques and collecting.
